“Working solo is often a lonely business,” says Ramón, describing the starting point for the album. “Using my track as a common foundation, I wanted to weave a network together with artists who are musically close to me or part of my community.”
He deliberately set no guidelines. This radical freedom is reflected in the album’s stylistic range. The remixes (by lua jungck, HAUSVRAU, Arthur Hnatek, mia.7zip and Jan Wagner) range from introspective pop to driving dancefloor and club tracks, experimental sound collages and meditative ambient music. Each reinterpretation sheds a different light on the rhythmic and thematic source material and demonstrates just how vibrant music remains when control is relinquished and space is created for trust.
